Privacy policy

IPappTV application · effective 22 July 2026

In short: IPappTV has no user accounts, collects no personal data, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and sends nothing to the developer's servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Controller

The data controller under the GDPR is Łukasz Czekański, developer of IPappTV, contact: kontakt@ipapptv.com.

2. What the app stores

The app stores on your device only: the addresses and names of playlists and EPG guides you add, cached copies of those files, your settings (favourite channels, custom groups, language, theme, playback parameters) and the programmes you scheduled (channel name, title and start time). This data is never transmitted anywhere and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its cache.

Guide data is accumulated across downloads, so that the archive reaches further back than any single file from your provider. You choose how many days are kept, and the Reset the guide button in Settings deletes all of it at any time.

3. Network connections

The app connects only to addresses you point it to: your IPTV provider's servers and your EPG source. The developer does not intermediate, log or inspect those connections. Your provider's own privacy policy governs how it processes your data.

The default EPG field in the settings is empty. The app suggests one publicly available source, but only writes it into the field when you press the button — and only then, once you tick the option to use the default guide for a playlist, does it fetch anything from it. If you neither enter an EPG address nor tick that option, the app will not connect to any guide source — the playlist simply works without a programme guide.

4. Payments

The one-time PRO purchase is handled by Google Play. The developer never receives or stores your card or billing details - only the information whether a given Google account holds an active PRO entitlement. Google's privacy policy governs payment data.

5. No analytics, no ads

The app contains no analytics tools, does not profile users, displays no advertising and does not use the advertising identifier.

6. Permissions

The app requests only internet and network-state access, required to download playlists and play streams. It does not use location, contacts, microphone or camera.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Your rights

Because the data stays on your device, you control it fully - delete it in the app settings or by uninstalling. For GDPR matters (access, rectification, erasure, objection) write to kontakt@ipapptv.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes. The current version is always available at this address.
