1. Digits 0-9 - channel number
In the player and in the channel list the digits select a channel by number. Up to four digits; after a short pause the app switches. The number always comes from the full list, not the filtered category - "12" is the same channel whichever tab you are in. Numbers are shown before channel names in the list and in the panel.
2. Arrows
| Screen | Action |
|---|---|
| Player (clean picture) | ◀ ▶ previous / next channel · ▼ function bar · ▲ programme details |
| Player - archive | ◀ ▶ seek within the recording (jumps after a short pause) |
| Channel panel | ▲ ▼ cursor through channels · ◀ ▶ change category |
| Channel list | ▲ ▼ through channels · ◀ ▶ change category, also from a channel row |
| Reorder mode | ▲ ▼ move the selected channel within favourites or a custom group |
| Channel schedule (EPG) | ◀ ▶ previous / next day |
| Home screen, Settings | Standard navigation between elements |
3. OK - short and long
| Screen | Short press | Hold |
|---|---|---|
| Player | Opens the channel panel | - |
| Channel panel | Switches to the highlighted channel | Channel menu: guide, favourite, lock, archive, group (about 0.6 s) |
| Channel list | Starts the channel | Channel menu as above, plus "Move" in favourites and custom groups |
| Home screen | Opens the list | List menu: edit, delete |
| Channel schedule | On a future programme: reminder (bell). On a past one, with archive: playback | - |
On TV the channel panel navigates with its own cursor, so OK always applies to the highlighted channel - focus does not "escape" to tabs or buttons.
4. Back
Back always goes one level up and never throws you out of the app with a single press from the player. In the player the order is: programme details → channel panel → function bar → from the archive, first back to live → leave the player for the list. In reorder mode Back ends reordering. On the home screen it exits the app.
5. Play / pause
In the player it pauses and resumes. A remote may have separate Play and Pause buttons or one shared button - the app handles all three variants. After pausing a live stream, resuming continues from where you paused, as long as the provider's stream keeps that much material behind live; if not, playback returns to the present.
6. Channel +/− and Page Up / Page Down
The app treats both pairs the same (on some remotes the channel rocker sends Page Up/Down codes).
| Screen | Action |
|---|---|
| Player (clean picture) | CH+ next channel, CH− previous - same as the side arrows |
| Channel panel, channel list, schedule | Page scrolling. Direction follows the cursor: CH+ up the list, CH− down - not the channel number |
7. Buttons the app does not intercept
Power, mute, volume, Home, app shortcut buttons (Netflix, YouTube) and the coloured buttons are handled by the TV system. You change volume with the TV remote as usual - the app has no volume slider of its own on TV (on a phone it does, by tapping the left edge of the picture).
8. PIN keypad
For a locked channel the app shows its own keypad: digits, delete, OK. You can navigate it with the arrows and confirm with OK, but typing the code with the remote's digits is faster - they work directly.
